The release of the movie was slated for 2020 but was moved to 2021 due to the pandemic.

The movie, which is a spin-off of “Kahaani”, features Abhishek Bachchan in the titular role, and the actor is said to have undergone a massive transformation for the character. Helmed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh, the movie marks the second collaboration between Sujoy Gosh and Red Chillies Entertainment after “Badla”.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Setupathi and Mona Singh, and is AKP’s latest production after Dangal.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, “Rashmi Rocket” stars Taapsee Pannu as an athlete. An RSVP production, the movie also features Priyanshu Painyuli and Abhishek Banerjee. The film is being shot in Kutch, and Taapsee has been training for her athletic role for more than a year.
