Dia Mirza to marry businessman Vaibhav Rekhi?
Their wedding will be an intimate affair, with only close friends and family of the couple attending the ceremony.
Actor Dia Mirza has reportedly found love again and is set to tie the knot for the second time. Dia's rumoured beau is Mumbai-based businessman Vaibhav Rekhi, and the two have been dating since 2020, as per reports.
According to a report in Spotboye, Dia and Vaibhav will be tying the knot next week on February 15 in a private ceremony. Their wedding will be an intimate affair, with only close friends and family of the couple attending the ceremony.
Dia Mirza separated from writer-producer Sahil Sangha in 2019 after five years of marriage. The two had been together for 11 years. Announcing the separation on social media, Dia wrote, "After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other."
Later, in an interview with The Times of India, Dia opened up about her separation and was quoted as saying, "My privilege as a celebrity doesn’t disallow my pain. I derived strength from my parents’ separation 34 years ago. I told myself that if I could handle it at four-and-a-half, there’s no reason why, at 37, I wouldn’t be able to. Men and women hesitate to take certain decisions because they’re afraid, you have to find the courage to believe that this too shall pass."
Talking about how she kept herself calm, she added, "I vent, then return to my serene self. I’ve been meditating for 14 years and my mornings are spent in the building garden. Even my home is full of lush greenery, with birds and bees visiting. Otherwise, the city gets to you—so many angry people around, including the media."
